Wild food picnics Spring picnics of wild food have been a big hit this year. Eating wild and wonderful food seems to becoming more popular. Many people say they have been inspired by seeing this on TV. If you too are feeling adventurous and would like to forage, cook and eat dandelions, daisies and nettles galore there will be more events in the Summer. Cake and tea The Mother Art Makers group of Cheadle enjoyed making and tasting tea and cakes from garden herbs and wild flowers. Ground elder flavoured cake and goose grass tea were particularly popular. Wildflower Cake You can sample wildflower cake at the Derbyshire Food and Drink Fair this year.
