Seasonal workshops
Gather wild and garden plants. Mix, stir and grind. Take home your own potion made from local natural ingredients. Please book before you arrive.

Spookyshire
Celebrate the spirit of Hallowe’en: discover wild plants used for potion making. Stroll through meadows, woods and maybe a cemetery at Atlow Moat (click for map). The walk is free of charge and it’s just £2 to taste potions - if you dare!  All ages welcome.  Bookings only please. To book contact us.

These walks are part of Visit Peak District and Derbyshire’s Spookyshire events. They take place on each Friday in October from 10.30 am to 12.30pm.

These events are open to the public. Come along and make a potion to take home.


Guided walks
Book a guided walk in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, foraging for wild plants for food and medicine. Accompanied children are very welcome. Bring a minimum of 6 people along and there will be no charge for this 2 hour walk. It is funded by Natural England through their countryside access scheme.
